چکیده
In this study 253 serum samples from cattle showing respiratory disorders were tested by confirmatory Western Immunoblotting test (IBT), complement fixation (CFT) and competitive enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (c-ELISA). Two (0.8%) out of found to be positive two doubtful CFT while 7 (2.8%) as 25 (9.9%) them c-ELISA. On the other hand, a core profile antigenic bands needed identified at 110, 98, 95, 62/60 48 kDa was not detected in any sample. Immunoblot analysis some displayed number between one or three highly faint. order detect similarities MmmSc strains related their electrophoretic profiles, whole cell proteins Mycoplasma species isolated MmmSC reference (Mycoplasma mycoides subsp. SC Botswana (African strain), PG1 (reference V5 (Australian M. bovigenitalium, bovirhinis, capricolum capricolum, M.canadense, M.alkalescens bovis) analysed sodium dodecyl sulphate polyacrilamide gel elektrophoresis (SDS-PAGE). The result indicated that antigens 220, 78, 82, 68, 24 common among all strains. According these results, it thought results both c-ELISA, also non specific band patterns observed IBT might caused cross reaction mycoplasma As conclusion, is recommended c-ELISA confirmed IBT.

Contagious Bovine Pleuropneumonia
Contagious bovine pleuropneumonia (CBPP) is one of the most important infectious diseases of cattle in Africa. Naïve herds can experience losses up to 80%, and many cattle that survive remain chronic carriers. These carriers may suffer from recurrent low-grade fever, loss of condition, and respiratory signs upon exercise, and might introduce the virus into uninfected herds. Although contagious ...

Reagent production: selecting the strain, preparing the antigen and controlling quality The choice of the strain to use is an extremely critical point. The use of the B103 strain, the reference strain used by Regalla et al. in 1999 to develop the IBT method, is highly recommended and should be used to ensure consistent results among laboratories. The antigen is then prepared from a culture grow...
